Accurate, Clear and Trustworthy Journalism
Although content is checked before publication, errors can occasionally occur. When a mistake is identified, it will be assessed promptly and corrected fairly and transparently.
Reader reports
Reporting an Error
Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page or by emailing hello@techtorquemedia.com.
Please include:
- The article title or URL
- A description of the possible error
- The information believed to be correct
- Any relevant evidence or supporting source
- Contact details if a response is requested
Every report will be considered on its merits. Submitting a correction request does not automatically mean that the published information is inaccurate or that a change will be made.
Editorial review
How Reports Are Assessed
A reported error will be reviewed by the editor or the relevant editorial desk. This may involve checking the original source material, official documentation, quotations, figures, technical information and any subsequent developments.
Relevant organisations or sources may be contacted when further verification is required. If the published information is found to be accurate, the article may remain unchanged.
A difference of opinion does not constitute a factual error. However, factual claims within reviews, analysis and opinion-led articles remain covered by this policy.
Routine changes
Minor Amendments
Typographical, grammatical, formatting and presentation errors may be corrected without a formal notice when they do not alter the meaning or conclusion of an article.
This can include spelling or punctuation mistakes, broken links, minor non-material factual details, formatting problems and corrections to captions or alternative text.
Routine improvements made for clarity, accessibility or house style are not normally treated as formal corrections.
Material changes
Significant Corrections
When an error materially affects the accuracy, meaning or interpretation of an article, the content will be corrected promptly.
A visible, dated correction notice will normally explain:
- What information was inaccurate
- What has been changed
- When the correction was made
The original error may not be repeated in full when doing so could cause further confusion or unnecessarily reproduce harmful or inaccurate information.
Developing information
Clarifications and Article Updates
A clarification may be added when the original information was not factually incorrect but could have been clearer, more complete or less ambiguous.
Articles may also be updated when new information emerges after publication. This is particularly relevant to developing news, motorsport decisions, product specifications, pricing and software changes.
An update is not necessarily a correction. Significant additions may include an update note explaining what has changed. Original publication dates will not be altered simply to make older content appear new, although an updated date may be shown following meaningful revisions.

Tech Torque Media will not knowingly leave materially inaccurate information uncorrected.
Corrections, clarifications and updates will be handled fairly and proportionately, with editorial oversight. The aim is to preserve an accurate public record while maintaining the trust of readers.
