EDITORIAL STANDARDS

Editorial Policy

Tech Torque Media has grown from a new digital publication into a multi-desk magazine covering EVs & technology, gaming, home entertainment and motorsport, supported by reviews, guides, features, analysis and specialist editorial contributors. As the publication grows, the standards behind that coverage matter just as much as the stories themselves.

Our editorial approach

Our purpose is to give readers accurate, useful and clearly presented coverage. Daily specialist desks keep the publication current, while reviews, guides and longer-form features provide context, practical experience and deeper analysis.

Accuracy, sourcing and verification

We aim to verify factual claims before publication using appropriate primary sources, official information and reputable reporting where relevant. We distinguish confirmed information from rumours, expectations, analysis and opinion. When a story develops after publication, articles may be updated to reflect material new information.

Reviews, testing and first-hand experience

Reviews and experience-led articles should make clear what has been tested or used directly. Our conclusions are based on the product, game, service or experience being assessed, together with relevant research and context. Supplied review samples, access or event invitations do not guarantee positive coverage.

Commercial relationships and affiliate links

Advertising, affiliate relationships, supplied products and commercial partnerships must not determine editorial verdicts or conclusions. Where affiliate links are used, Tech Torque Media may receive a commission from qualifying purchases at no additional cost to the reader. Relevant commercial relationships or supplied review products should be disclosed where appropriate.

Pre-publication factual checks

For interviews, technical features, creator profiles, company case studies and similar collaborations, Tech Torque Media may offer a pre-publication factual or technical check where appropriate. This allows genuine factual errors, technical inaccuracies or agreed embargo details to be flagged, but it is not an approval process. Final editorial control over headlines, structure, analysis, verdicts, scores and published copy remains with Tech Torque Media.

Sponsored and paid content

Paid or sponsored content will be clearly identified so readers can understand the commercial relationship. Payment, sponsorship, advertising or other commercial support does not purchase a positive review, score, verdict or editorial conclusion, and independent editorial coverage remains separate from commercial arrangements.

Corrections and accountability

If we identify a significant factual error, we aim to correct it promptly and transparently. Readers can find details of this process in our Corrections Policy or contact the editorial team through our Contact page.

Editorial artwork and imagery

Tech Torque Media uses a mixture of original photography, publication-created editorial artwork, supplied media assets and appropriately licensed imagery. Editorial artwork may be composited, digitally created or AI-assisted for illustrative purposes and should not be interpreted as an official manufacturer, publisher, team or rights-holder image unless explicitly credited as such. Logos, trademarks, product designs, game imagery and other third-party intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

Images are used for editorial, reporting, review, commentary or illustrative purposes as appropriate. Where an image requires a specific credit or attribution, we aim to provide it.

AI-assisted workflows

Technology may assist parts of our research, production and publishing workflow. Editorial responsibility remains with Tech Torque Media: material should be checked, edited and assessed for accuracy, relevance and presentation before publication.

Reader trust

Our standards will continue to develop as Tech Torque Media grows. The goal remains consistent: useful coverage, clear sourcing, transparent disclosures and editorial decisions made for the reader rather than to satisfy a commercial relationship.
