Hisense has listed its new C3 Ultra Max laser projector on its UK website, bringing 5,000 ANSI lumens, 4K projection up to 300 inches, Dolby Vision and Devialet-tuned audio to the company’s latest home-cinema model.
The UK listing follows Hisense’s 15 September announcement that the wider C3 projector family is rolling out across global markets this month. The C3 Ultra Max sits at the top of that range, above the C3 Ultra and forthcoming C3 Pro, with the highest quoted brightness and 1ms latency.
Hisense has not yet published a UK price on the product page, so the important detail for buyers is that the model is now officially listed for this market rather than relying on a broader international launch announcement.
5,000 ANSI lumens and a 300-inch 4K picture
The C3 Ultra Max uses Hisense’s triple-laser projection system and is rated at 5,000 ANSI lumens. Hisense also quotes a 5,000:1 contrast ratio with its adjustable IRIS lens.
Projection size ranges from 65 to 300 inches, while a 0.85–1.7:1 throw ratio and 2x lossless optical zoom give owners more flexibility over placement. Lens shift supports up to ±120% vertical and ±47% horizontal adjustment, which should make it considerably easier to position the image without relying heavily on digital keystone correction.
Hisense also includes Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced support. That combination puts the C3 Ultra Max firmly in premium home-cinema territory, although picture quality will still depend heavily on room conditions, screen choice and installation.
Devialet-tuned audio is built in
The projector has an integrated audio system co-engineered with Devialet, including a built-in subwoofer and a 2.8-litre acoustic chamber. Hisense claims bass extension down to 50Hz.
Built-in audio will not replace a dedicated surround system for every home-cinema setup, but it could make the projector much easier to use as an all-in-one entertainment system when a separate soundbar or AV receiver is not practical.

VIDAA, Xbox Cloud Gaming and 1ms latency
The C3 Ultra Max runs VIDAA U9.6, giving it direct access to streaming apps and voice controls without requiring a separate streaming box. Hisense also lists VIDAA Games and the Xbox app for cloud gaming on supported VIDAA OS 9.6 laser projectors.
Hisense’s global launch announcement quotes 1ms ultra-low latency for the C3 Ultra Max, while the UK product page highlights support for Xbox, PlayStation and Switch Pro controllers through its gaming services.
That makes the C3 Ultra Max a big-screen option for gaming as well as films and sport. Cloud gaming will still depend on network quality, and players chasing the lowest possible input latency will want to check the final UK specifications and available picture modes once the projector reaches retailers.
Automatic setup should make placement easier
Hisense’s Auto Magic AI Adjusting 3.0 system uses a 3D ToF sensor to handle automatic focus, keystone correction, obstacle avoidance, screen fitting and wall-colour adaptation. Intelligent Eye Protection can also dim or cut the light when someone moves too close to the lens.
The projector itself uses a gimbal design with 360-degree horizontal and 260-degree vertical adjustment, so it can be aimed at a wall or screen from a wider range of positions than a conventional fixed projector.
UK pricing is the big unanswered question
The C3 Ultra Max is now listed on Hisense UK’s official website under model number C3TUKULTRAMAX, complete with a “Where to buy” option. At the time of writing, however, Hisense has not published a UK recommended retail price.
The company’s global C3 family announcement confirms that the C3 Ultra and C3 Ultra Max are launching across global markets during September, with the C3 Pro following later.
Tech Torque Verdict
The C3 Ultra Max combines some serious home-cinema hardware with the convenience of an all-in-one smart projector. The 5,000-lumen output, optical zoom, extensive lens shift and 300-inch ceiling are the headline features, while Devialet audio and built-in VIDAA services make it more flexible than a traditional projector-and-source setup.
The missing piece is price. Hisense has now given the C3 Ultra Max a clear UK presence, but until retail pricing appears it is difficult to judge its value against premium projectors and large-screen TVs. On specification alone, though, it looks like one of Hisense’s most capable home-cinema projectors yet.
